Originally purchased by city of Kent, WA fire department in 1925. Served Kent until 1940 when sold to King County Fire District #20, Bryn Mawr. Purchased by the East Olympia Fire Department in 1952 for $250 with five local citizens each contributing $50. The following year the department was formally organized as a fire district. The engine was in service until 1962. Restoration was completed in 2005 and was coordinated by a team of volunteers led by LT Mark Mueller.
The Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America (SPAAMFAA) is an organization of people dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and operation of antique fire apparatus.
