The SPAAMFAA Archives contains a vast treasure-trove of information about American fire apparatus, including: literature, drawings, technical manuals, and photographs. More than one-hundred of these images, both color and black & white were selected to illustrate the history of fifty-four different American fire apparatus manufacturers — from 1908 to 1980, and from A to Z.
This 120+ page, softcover book, was written by Archives Committee member Anthony Buono, a frequent contributor to Enjine!-Enjine! and author of the book Buckboard Fire Apparatus: The Original Cab Forward. On the Ramp was edited by Scott Rollins, the Editor of Enjine!-Enjine!
