1924 U S Fire Apparatus Co. pumper and soda acid

U S Fire Apparatus Co. of Wilmington, DE sold this truck to New Philadelphia Fire Department. Later the truck was abandoned. Eventually Bill Kline rebuilt the truck. For many years the truck was stored at the Schuykill Historical Fire Society’s Museum, 105 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah, PA.
It is believed to be the first ground up truck built by U S Fire Apparatus Co. It is a Model A and Serial Number 1001.
The truck is in excellent condition with very good paint. The truck has a water-cooled Wisconsin 4 cylinder engine of about 472 cubic inches, a Brown and Lipe 3 speed transmission, a Northern Rotary Pump and a Timken rear.
