FOR SALE: 1959 CROWN Firecoach pumper

For Sale 1959 Crown Firecoach pumper. Asking $14,500/YOUR BEST offer. F-1133, last active service was The Valley Center Fire Protection District (Ca.) from 1981 to 1997. Delivered new to LA County Station 38, where it served from 1959 to 1981. Rebuilt in 1982 with 6V92TA Detroit Diesel, Allison automatic transmission, Jacobs Brake and Rockwell R-170 rear end. Engine fires right up with new NAPA guaranteed batteries installed June of 2021. Starts/runs/steers/drives/stops. Currently registered, licensed and insured in New Jersey, this truck easily does a steady 65 mph on the Interstate. Second private owner since January, 2018, the truck has gone to at least 6 truck shows, musters and Fire Company events each year. Last event was my Fire Companies Open House October 7th and I plan on taking it to Jacktown/Banger, Pa on Oct 16th. I have put a total of 2,000 miles on it since owning it. Comes with all equipment for display or parade: over 500′ clean 2 1/2 inch in the hose bed, over 150′ 1 1/2 inch attic lines in the crosslays, nozzles for the above, original Valley Center deck gun, hard sleeve in aluminum tray, 30′ wooden extension ladder, 10′ aluminum attic ladder, helmets, 1970’s turnout coat, early canister breathing apparatus, Scott tanks, Indian tank, stretcher, orange EMT kit, hose burst/blister connection, 2 axes, 2 pike poles, 3 tail board harnesses, LA Co.FD duty shirt, Commemorative Valley Center helmet front and “Crown” badge. Adam 12/Squad 51 Motorola radio head and speakers. Original “Beacon Ray” revolving red light, and “The Light from Mars” oscillating red light as well as glass yellow fog light lens and the body flush mounted “SIRO-DRIFT” Siren are there and working. Wheel chocks, fire extinguisher, reflective break down triangles and first aid kit to satisfy DOT requirements. This is an excellent truck for a serious collector.
