I have for sale a 1961 American LaFrance 900 series pumper. Truck has the original American LaFrance motor which is a V12. Truck runs and drives very nicely. It also pumps good water however the pump does have a leak come I believe it is a packing seal but it will still pump through a two and a half inch hose with no problem. Truck definitely needs a paint job but there is only very minor surface rust. Located in Michigan. Truck is equipped with a lot of equipment, hose, scba’s, hydrant wrenches, spanner wrenches, nozzles, fire extinguishers, axes, hose strainer, hose clamp, hard suction lines and more. $3500 firm or I will consider a trade for a 700 series American LaFrance. Only thing that is missing is the beacon light on The roof. The truck starts very easily. Most of the time you don’t even have to use the choke. It does need some restoration but it is a very nice truck the way it sits. I would have no problem driving it quite a distance. Tires are in good shape. Brakes are good. It is a stick shift.
