1928 Buffalo/Kearns

1928 Buffalo on a Kearns-Dughie (Childs) chassis (SN 808). This truck originally served in Lancaster NY and later in Rose NY. There are only three surviving Buffalos built on this heavy 2-ton Kearns chassis. The truck is complete with all its appliances but the motor does not turn over and must be overhauled. The truck was delivered painted bright yellow with an abundance of gold leaf and green and red pin striping – very striking.

The truck has a Waukesha 6AB, 549 cu.in. motor and a 600 GPM Hale MCT-10 pump. It comes with a full set of accessories: bell, hand crank siren, hose reel, topside basket, nozzles, 2 Dietz King lanterns, spot light, and a number of fittings. Delivery photo from Buffalo included.

I have had the starter, generator, carburetor, water pump, coil, and intake manifold professionally restored. The truck is 21’ long. Asking $5,000. Delivery possible.
