1913/1922 Seagrave 6WT

For Sale: 1913/1922 Seagrave 6WT Standard 750 GPM pumper. Truck is mid frame off restoration with a lot of the hardest work already done. We have evidence to believe the truck started life as a Seagrave/Gorham pumper servicing as the city of Columbus Ohio’s first motorized fire apparatus engine 17. It appears it was rebuilt in 1922 and shipped to Burlingame California FD. I pulled the truck out of the woods in california. This is a very sturdy truck which is rust free. Frame and components have been sand blasted epoxy primed and painted red. The radiator was professionally cleaned and tested and is in working order. The jugs do/did have leaks and were full of sediment. I had them professionally cleaned and magnafluxed to identify all cracks. Doug Klink currently has them to complete the repairs which will be included in the sale. Also had the clutch rebuilt by Ft. Wayne clutch. The previous owner put new rings and valves in it. I had a new wooden steering wheel made as well. Truck ran like a Swiss watch before I had the jugs repaired and it pumped as well. I have all of the parts for the truck minus a rear left fender and 3 hood latches. I do have a fender that was started but not finished for the left side. The parts are not thrown in a box. They are all labeled and organized so you will not be inheriting a cluster. I will also provide any guidance you need as I would like to see the truck finished. You can also see the truck on American Pickers. I have hundreds of photos of the work done as well as videos of the truck running prior to taking the jugs off for repair. I am asking $8,500 for the truck. It is located in Houston, Texas. Call Chris 219-263-3037 or email: Cbellavia131@gmail.com
